I live in Springfield Virginia and get some of my best artistic motivation from nearby Washington DC.

You'll see great variety in my subjects because I look for interesting lighting and composition. I gravitate towards the middle and macro view where the details of everyday life constantly grab my attention. Reflections engage me for hours. Subjects with graphic content, like lines and curves, also attract me, particularly if the light is dramatic or color saturated.

 

I have been an avid photographer for over 40years, but began consistent development in Fine Art Photography by joining Gallery West (Alexandria VA) in 1994. I started Polaris Photography in 2001 when I retired from my "real job" for full-time artistic endevors.
